Kāmākṣā-māhātmya (Glory of Kāmākṣā) with Siddhanātha Account
Narada (narrative voice within the Uttara-Bhaga mahatmya instruction)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhayanaka","secondary_rasa":"bhakti","emotional_journey":"Awe and fear arise as the Goddess manifests in a terrifying form; the mood resolves into empowered devotion through fearlessness and steadiness that yields siddhi."}
It teaches that divine encounters may test one’s steadiness; unwavering composure in the Goddess’s fearsome vision is presented as a direct cause for attaining siddhi.
Bhakti here is shown as courageous steadiness before the Divine—remaining firm in darśana indicates trust and surrender rather than fear, which ripens into grace and fulfillment.
No specific Vedanga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is sādhana-discipline—mental steadiness (acalatā) during darśana, often emphasized in vrata and tirtha-mahātmya contexts.
