Glory of Prayaga and the Magha Bath at Triveni
Munīśvarāḥ (the sages) — reported doctrinal statement within the dialogue frame (Narada Purana, Uttara-Bhaga narration)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"shringara","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta","emotional_journey":"From arrival in Svarga to joyous participation among Gandharvas and Apsarases, culminating in fulfillment of desired pleasures."}
It highlights the classical Purāṇic doctrine of karma-phala: meritorious acts (often connected with tīrtha, vrata, and dāna in the Uttara-bhāga) can yield Svarga and refined enjoyments, though such results remain within saṃsāra.
By implication, it distinguishes worldly-heavenly rewards (kāma-bhoga in Svarga) from the higher aim of Viṣṇu-bhakti, which seeks liberation and divine proximity rather than merely desired pleasures.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; it functions as a results-statement (phala-śruti style) commonly used in Purāṇic Dharma and tīrtha-māhātmya sections.
