FAQs

It emphasizes that the pre-sunrise period (aruṇodaya to sunrise) is especially potent for purification, and that engaging in tīrtha-related discipline in this window is a direct means to reduce pāpa (sin) and cultivate sacred merit.

While it speaks in the language of purification, it supports bhakti by preparing the devotee’s body-mind through disciplined sacred practice; tīrtha-sevā and early-morning observance become supportive limbs (aṅgas) that steady devotion and reverence.

It highlights a practical kāla-niyama (time-rule): the auspicious window from aruṇodaya to sūryodaya—an applied aspect of Jyotiṣa-style time-awareness used for daily dharma and ritual scheduling.
