वैलक्ष्यमगमद्राजा रविसूनुर्द्विजोत्तमाः । लेख्यकर्मणि विश्रांतश्चित्रगुप्तोऽभवत्तदा ॥ १८ ॥
vailakṣyamagamadrājā ravisūnurdvijottamāḥ | lekhyakarmaṇi viśrāṃtaścitragupto'bhavattadā || 18 ||
Ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés, le roi—fils du Soleil—tomba dans l’embarras; et, en ce temps-là, Chitragupta demeura absorbé, tout entier à l’œuvre d’écrire et de consigner les actes.
