FAQs

It highlights how inner desire (hṛcchaya) and curiosity can propel a person into consequential action—setting up the moral-spiritual turning point typical of Tīrtha-Māhātmya narratives.

Indirectly, it contrasts restless worldly longing with the need to redirect the heart toward a higher aim; in the Narada Purana’s broader tone, such agitation becomes meaningful when transformed into devotion and pilgrimage-oriented dharma.

The verse uses clear temporal reckoning (māsadvaya—two months), reflecting basic calendrical/time-awareness used in dharma and vrata planning, though no specific Vedāṅga (like Jyotiṣa rules) is explicitly taught here.
