The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra

Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

अंशुमालिन्यथ परा प्रणवाद्या नमोन्विताः । पूर्वपश्चिमयाम्योदग्वक्त्रेषु तदनंतरम् ॥ ६६ ॥

aṃśumālinyatha parā praṇavādyā namonvitāḥ | pūrvapaścimayāmyodagvaktreṣu tadanaṃtaram || 66 ||

Ensuite (la série de mantras) commençant par « Aṃśumālinī » ; puis l’ensemble suivant, débutant par le praṇava (Oṃ) et joint à la salutation « namaḥ », doit être placé ensuite sur les faces tournées vers l’est, l’ouest, le sud et le nord.
