The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra

Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

शिखिं शिखाय परतोऽनादिबोधाय तच्छिखा । वज्रिणे वज्रहस्ताय स्वतंत्राय तनुच्छदम् ॥ ६० ॥

śikhiṃ śikhāya parato'nādibodhāya tacchikhā | vajriṇe vajrahastāya svataṃtrāya tanucchadam || 60 ||

Hommage au Seigneur à la crête, à Celui qui porte le chignon sacré; au Suprême au-delà de tout, l’Éveilleur de la connaissance sans commencement, dont la crête est cette même splendeur. Hommage au Porteur du Vajra, à Celui qui tient le foudre en sa main; au Maître souverain et indépendant, voile protecteur et soutien de l’existence incarnée.
