The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra
Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
गव्येन सर्पिषा मन्त्रो संस्कृते हव्यवाहने । शैवे पीठे यजेदंगमातृलोकेश्वरायुधैः ॥ १८८ ॥
gavyena sarpiṣā mantro saṃskṛte havyavāhane | śaive pīṭhe yajedaṃgamātṛlokeśvarāyudhaiḥ || 188 ||
Avec du ghee issu de la vache, qu’on offre le mantra dans le feu sacrificiel dûment consacré. Dans un pīṭha sacré śaiva, qu’on accomplisse le culte en usant des membres (rituels), des Mères divines (Mātṛkā), des Seigneurs des mondes et de leurs armes (comme emblèmes/instruments).
