Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
तदस्त्राणि ततो बाह्ये पूजयेत्साधकोत्तमः । जपपूजादिभिः सिद्धे मंत्रेऽस्मिन्मुनिसत्तम ॥ ११५ ॥
tadastrāṇi tato bāhye pūjayetsādhakottamaḥ | japapūjādibhiḥ siddhe maṃtre'sminmunisattama || 115 ||
Ensuite, à l’extérieur de l’aire principale du culte, le sādhaka le plus éminent doit vénérer ces astras auxiliaires. Ô meilleur des sages, lorsque ce mantra est accompli par le japa, la pūjā et les observances connexes, le rite devient pleinement opérant.

It teaches that mantra-practice becomes effective only after siddhi (perfection) gained through disciplined japa and pūjā, and that even auxiliary powers (astras) should be honoured in their proper place and order.
