अर्द्धपूगफलोत्थं तु रमं संक्षिप्य तापयेत् । आतपे सद्य एवैतदासवं देवताप्रियाम् ॥ २२ ॥

Transliteration

arddhapūgaphalotthaṃ tu ramaṃ saṃkṣipya tāpayet | ātape sadya evaitadāsavaṃ devatāpriyām || 22 ||

Translation

Quant à l’extrait préparé avec une demi-noix de bétel (pūga), qu’on le réduise puis qu’on le chauffe doucement. Exposé au soleil, cet āsava est aussitôt prêt et plaît aux divinités.
