Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual context, within the Narada Purana’s Vedanga/ritual sciences section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It marks the transition from mantra-japa to mantra-siddhi and then to prayoga—implying that efficacy and safety in ritual application depend on prior inner and technical accomplishment.
While framed as a technical instruction, it reinforces disciplined reverence: the practitioner acts only after the mantra is ‘siddha,’ reflecting faithful adherence to sacred procedure rather than impulsive desire.
Prayoga (applied ritual procedure) after mantra-siddhi—i.e., correct sequencing and operational use of mantra in rites, a technical-ritual emphasis aligned with Vedanga-style precision.
