Puis, à l’intérieur, trace une figure à huit angles dans l’espace entre la paire de cercles ; et, en son sein, trace encore un lotus pourvu de seize pétales.

Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It gives a precise inner layout of a sacred diagram (mandala/yantra), where progressively inward shapes symbolize increasing concentration—moving from boundary forms (circles) to a stabilizing enclosure (octagon) and finally to a devotional seat of the deity/energy (the sixteen-petalled lotus).
Though technical, the instruction supports bhakti-upāsanā by preparing the proper worship-field: the lotus with sixteen petals is a classic locus for placing mantras and invoking the chosen deity with ordered reverence and mental focus.
It reflects applied ritual-technical knowledge used in kalpa-style procedures: precise diagram construction (mandala/yantra-vidhi) and spatial ordering required for mantra-nyāsa and worship protocols.
