Que le connaisseur des mantras médite dans le cœur sur le Tārā-bīja, rayonnant comme l’or ; et, par le souffle né de cette contemplation, qu’il jette sur la terre les cendres du péché.
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within a technical upadesha on mantra-prayoga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches a purification method where bīja-mantra contemplation in the heart, combined with regulated breath, is said to burn sins into “ashes” and discard them—symbolizing inner cleansing through mantra and prāṇa.
Though technical in tone, it supports bhakti by prescribing focused remembrance (smaraṇa/dhyāna) of a sacred mantra-form; sustained inner contemplation becomes a devotional discipline that purifies the practitioner.
It highlights mantra-prayoga and a pranayama-like application of pavana (breath) alongside dhyāna—showing a technical, practice-oriented approach typical of the text’s Vedanga/auxiliary-science emphasis.
