Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that worship becomes effective when preceded by mantra-based offering (tarpana) and followed by purification (prokṣaṇa) of the worship materials, aligning outer action with inner sanctity.
Bhakti here is expressed as careful, reverent service: the devotee first honors the deity through tarpana and then purifies the upacāras, showing disciplined devotion rather than casual worship.
It highlights ritual praxis—mantra application and purification technique (prokṣaṇa with mantra-charged water), reflecting the technical discipline of Vedic ceremonial procedure.
