Narada (teaching in a technical enumerative passage within the Vedanga/structured-cosmology section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a hierarchical placement of divine figures—outer, beyond, and subsequent—reflecting the Purāṇic principle that the cosmos is ordered, with specific beings assigned distinct stations; such order supports contemplation (dhyāna) and disciplined ritual orientation.
Though primarily an enumeration, it indirectly aids bhakti by giving devotees a structured sacred map: understanding divine stations helps focus worship and meditation, ultimately directing reverence toward the supreme order that the Purāṇa attributes to Viṣṇu’s governance.
The verse exemplifies the Vedāṅga-style method of precise listing and positional classification—useful for ritual manuals (kalpa-like practice) and for aligning recitation/visualization sequences in worship where deity-order and placement matter.
