It presents Vasudeva’s son (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) as “smaraṇīya”—worthy of constant remembrance—because divine remembrance is linked with rescue from danger and the gift of dharmic guidance.
Bhakti here is expressed through smaraṇa (remembering the Lord). The verse implies that devotion is not only emotional reverence but also a saving power that leads the devotee toward right conduct (naya).
The verse emphasizes naya (sound counsel/right method), aligning with the Vedāṅga spirit of correct procedure and disciplined conduct—practical guidance for a dvija in applying dharma properly.
