वर्षकोटिसहस्रं तु सहस्राब्दैरथान्वहम् । भक्त्या संपूजितोऽपीश पादो नो दर्शितस्त्वया ॥ १३९ ॥

Transliteration

varṣakoṭisahasraṃ tu sahasrābdairathānvaham | bhaktyā saṃpūjito'pīśa pādo no darśitastvayā || 139 ||

Translation

Durant des milliers de crores d’années—à travers des millénaires sans relâche—nous T’avons vénéré avec bhakti, ô Seigneur ; et pourtant Tu ne nous as pas montré ne fût-ce que Ton pied, Ta présence divine.
