Mantra-Māhātmya and Sādhana of Kārtavīryārjuna

स्पृष्ट्वा कुंभं जपेन्मन्त्रं सहस्रं विजितेंद्रियः । अभिषिं चेत्तदंभोभिः प्रियं सर्वेष्टसिद्धये ॥ २८ ॥
spṛṣṭvā kuṃbhaṃ japenmantraṃ sahasraṃ vijiteṃdriyaḥ | abhiṣiṃ cettadaṃbhobhiḥ priyaṃ sarveṣṭasiddhaye || 28 ||
Après avoir touché le kumbha (vase d’eau sacrée), le pratiquant maître de ses sens doit réciter le mantra mille fois; puis, avec cette même eau, il accomplira l’abhiṣeka (aspersion/bain rituel) pour la Divinité bien-aimée, afin d’obtenir l’accomplissement de tous les buts désirés.
