Narada (in dialogue context with the Sanatkumara tradition; instructional/ritual-technical passage)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It stresses that mere external magnitude in a rite (like offering a lamp with huge quantity) may fail to manifest results unless the rite is properly empowered—implying the primacy of correct method, intention, and sanctifying factors.
By implication, it points to inner alignment: offerings meant for auspicious success work when joined with sincere devotion and right orientation toward the Lord, not by material quantity alone.
A ritual-technical takeaway: correct prayoga (procedure) and proper measures (like pala) matter, but procedure without the right empowering conditions can be ineffective—an applied lesson aligned with Kalpa (ritual science) and related technical disciplines.
