Procedure for Lamp-Offering to Hanumān
विलिख्य मध्ये मूर्तिं च महिषीगोमयेन वै । कृत्वा डमरुहस्तां च चकिताक्षीं प्रयत्नतः ॥ ७२ ॥
vilikhya madhye mūrtiṃ ca mahiṣīgomayena vai | kṛtvā ḍamaruhastāṃ ca cakitākṣīṃ prayatnataḥ || 72 ||
Puis, au centre du lieu préparé, qu’on trace avec soin une figure au moyen de bouse de buffle et de vache. Avec effort et attention, qu’on façonne la forme, tenant un ḍamaru (petit tambour) en main, les yeux grands ouverts comme saisis d’étonnement.
