Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes disciplined upāsanā: humility and focus (karapuṭa), sincere effort (yathāśakti), and correct ritual orientation using a lamp to support steadiness in mantra-japa.
By prescribing simple, reverent bodily conduct and steady repetition of the mantra, it shows bhakti as practical worship—devotion expressed through consistent japa supported by a sacred setting.
Ritual pragmatics—proper posture/hand-gesture, directional orientation (north-facing), and use of a lamp as a support for focused recitation—reflect applied procedural knowledge allied to Vedic ritual practice.
