Sanatkumara
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It introduces Hanumān’s lamp-ritual as both an outer practice (vidhi) and an inner esoteric principle (rahasya), stressing that right understanding itself is a key cause of spiritual accomplishment (siddhi).
By presenting a focused act of worship to Hanumān (lighting and offering a dīpa) and emphasizing reverent understanding, it frames devotion as disciplined upāsanā supported by knowledge of the rite’s meaning.
The verse foregrounds ritual procedure (vidhi) and its correct comprehension (vijñāna), aligning with Vedāṅga-style technical instruction—how a practice is performed and why it yields results.
