Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the ritual sequence)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes inner and outer purification (bhūtaśuddhi), correct installation of sacred power (pīṭha-nyāsa), and focused meditation as prerequisites for completing worship—showing that devotion is strengthened by disciplined ritual order.
Bhakti here is not merely emotion; it is expressed as attentive dhyāna and respectful, complete pūjā performed “by the previously taught method,” indicating steady remembrance and reverent service to the deity (Kapīśvara).
Ritual-technique knowledge is foregrounded—especially procedural sequencing of purification, nyāsa (mantric placement), and dhyāna—reflecting disciplined application of mantra-vidhi and ceremonial correctness typical of Vedāṅga-oriented practice.
