The Exposition of Nṛsiṁha Worship-Mantras, Nyāsa, Mudrās, Yantras, Kavaca, and Nṛsiṁha Gāyatrī
वर्णलक्षं जपेन्मन्त्रं तद्दशांशं च पायसैः । घृताक्तैर्जुहुयाद्वह्नौ पीठे पूर्वोदितेऽचयेत् ॥ ४५ ॥
varṇalakṣaṃ japenmantraṃ taddaśāṃśaṃ ca pāyasaiḥ | ghṛtāktairjuhuyādvahnau pīṭhe pūrvodite'cayet || 45 ||
Qu’on récite le mantra jusqu’à un lakh (cent mille) syllabes ; puis, pour le dixième de ce compte, qu’on verse dans le feu des oblations de pāyasa (riz au lait) mêlé de ghee, et qu’on dépose l’offrande préparée sur le pīṭha, l’autel prescrit auparavant.
