FAQs

It teaches that disciplined japa, followed by abhiṣeka, functions as a purificatory and healing rite, aligning bodily well-being with ritual purity and dharmic practice.

By prescribing counted japa and fasting at sacred times (eclipses), it frames devotion as steady, measurable practice—devotional remembrance expressed through mantra-discipline and austerity.

Jyotiṣa (Vedic astrology/astronomy) is implied through the timing of rites during lunar and solar eclipses, along with ritual procedure (kalpa-style) guidance on japa counts and upavāsa.
