Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 141

Mahāviṣṇu-Mantras: Aṣṭākṣarī, Sudarśana-Astra, Nyāsa Systems, Āvaraṇa-Pūjā, and Prayogas

साज्येन जुहुयान्मन्त्री विष्णोः पीठे समर्चयेत् । मूर्तिं संकल्प्य मूलेन तस्यां वसुमतीं यजेत् ॥ १४१ ॥

sājyena juhuyānmantrī viṣṇoḥ pīṭhe samarcayet | mūrtiṃ saṃkalpya mūlena tasyāṃ vasumatīṃ yajet || 141 ||

L’officiant, récitant le mantra, doit verser des oblations avec du ghee et accomplir le culte en règle au pīṭha (autel) de Viṣṇu. Ayant, par le mantra racine, conçu et installé intérieurement la forme de la divinité, qu’il adore alors Vasumatī, la Déesse Terre, en cette même forme.
