Mahāviṣṇu-Mantras: Aṣṭākṣarī, Sudarśana-Astra, Nyāsa Systems, Āvaraṇa-Pūjā, and Prayogas
ekākṣaro varāhasya mantraḥ kalpadrumo'paraḥ | pūjādyārdhyādikaṃ sarvamasyāṃ pūrvoktavañcaret || 133 ||
Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It elevates Varāha’s one-syllabled mantra as spiritually potent—like a kalpadruma—while stressing that mantra-fruit is supported by correct, previously taught ritual procedure.
Bhakti here is expressed through mantra-japa joined with reverent pūjā—offering arghya and related upacāras—showing devotion as both inner remembrance and outer worship.
It highlights ritual-method discipline: following the earlier stated pūjā-krama (sequence) including arghya and allied offerings—an applied, technical approach to worship procedure.
