Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a Vedanga/astronomical-astrological enumeration context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames cosmic order through precise naming and sequencing—showing that dharma and ritual life are supported by correct knowledge of time (kāla), lunar phases, and nakṣatras, which are treated as sacred structures of the universe.
Indirectly: by grounding worship in proper timing. In the Purāṇic outlook, bhakti is strengthened when vrata, japa, and pūjā are aligned with auspicious lunar markers (nakṣatra, jyotsnā, kalā), making devotion disciplined rather than random.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa—technical enumeration of nakṣatras and time-divisions (kāla/kalā, jyotsnā), useful for muhurta selection, calendrical reckoning, and planning rites according to lunar astronomy.
