Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in dialogue on ritual/vedāṅga practice)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames arghya-dāna as a dhārmic act of reverence whose merit (puṇya) ripens into both worldly welfare—progeny and desired aims—and sustaining virtues like longevity and health.
By emphasizing reverential offering (arghya) as an outward expression of inner honoring of the deity, teacher, or sacred presence—devotion embodied through correct ritual conduct and intention.
Ritual know-how (kalpa/ācāra): the prescribed act of arghya-offering and its stated phala (results), a typical technical feature of Narada Purana’s Vedāṅga-oriented sections.
