Gaṇeśa Mantra-vidhi: Mahāgaṇapati Gāyatrī, Vakratuṇḍa Mantra, Nyāsa, Homa, Āvaraṇa-pūjā, and Caturthī Vrata
Narada (narrative attribution within the Narada Purana dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a phala-shruti: sincere worship of Gaṇeśa is said to yield both worldly fulfillment (bhoga) and the highest end (mokṣa), framing devotion as complete in both aims.
Bhakti is shown as direct worship (bhajate) of a chosen deity with faith and regularity; the verse emphasizes that such devotion culminates in inner freedom (mukti) rather than stopping at material success.
While no single Vedāṅga is named, the verse functions like a ritual-result statement used in upāsanā manuals—guiding practitioners toward disciplined worship and its stated fruits, a common feature in technical religious instruction.
