Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 82

Gaṇeśa Mantra-vidhi: Mahāgaṇapati Gāyatrī, Vakratuṇḍa Mantra, Nyāsa, Homa, Āvaraṇa-pūjā, and Caturthī Vrata

वचां निष्कार्द्धभागं च तदर्द्धं वा मनुं जपेत् । विशोध्य चूर्णं प्रसृतौ गवां मूत्रे विनिक्षिपेत् ॥ ८२ ॥

vacāṃ niṣkārddhabhāgaṃ ca tadarddhaṃ vā manuṃ japet | viśodhya cūrṇaṃ prasṛtau gavāṃ mūtre vinikṣipet || 82 ||

Qu’on prenne la vacā (acore odorant) à la mesure d’un demi-niṣka, ou de la moitié de cela, et qu’on récite le mantra ; puis, l’ayant purifiée et réduite en poudre fine, qu’on dépose deux mesures de prasṛti de cette poudre dans l’urine de vache.
