Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada on technical ritual orientation)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It emphasizes intentionality in worship: the devotee’s chosen orientation sanctifies the space, establishing an operative ‘east’ for the rite and ensuring the ritual’s directional framework is coherent.
Bhakti is made practical—devotion is not only inner feeling but also orderly conduct in worship; facing the deity with focus defines the sacred axis for the offering.
It highlights ritual-technical dik-nirnaya (directional determination) used in pūjā and related rites—how to define prācī (east) and derive the remaining directions for correct placement and procedure.
