Narada (as a devotional supplicant within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It teaches śaraṇāgati: even when one has committed aparādha (offense), the highest remedy is exclusive refuge in the Lord, trusting His power to forgive and uplift.
Bhakti here is expressed as exclusive dependence (ananya-śaraṇatā): the devotee admits fault and turns to the Lord alone, which is a core devotional mood emphasized in Narada Purana.
It highlights the practical prerequisite behind all mantra/ritual disciplines: inner humility and correction of aparādha; without this disposition, technical mastery of Vedāṅgas (like vyākaraṇa or kalpa) does not yield full spiritual fruit.
