The Explanation of Sandhyā and Related Daily Observances

Saṅdhyā-ādi Nitya-karma-Vidhi

समुत्थाय च मन्त्रज्ञस्ताम्रपात्रे सुमादिकम् । प्रक्षिप्यार्घं प्रदद्याद्वै मूलान्तैर्मन्त्रमुच्चरन् ॥ ६७ ॥

samutthāya ca mantrajñastāmrapātre sumādikam | prakṣipyārghaṃ pradadyādvai mūlāntairmantramuccaran || 67 ||

Puis, se levantant, le connaisseur des mantras doit déposer dans un vase de cuivre des offrandes auspiciées, telles que des fleurs et autres, et offrir l’arghya en récitant les mantras se terminant par les syllabes mūla (racines).
