The Explanation of Sandhyā and Related Daily Observances

Saṅdhyā-ādi Nitya-karma-Vidhi

ततश्च मूलमन्त्रस्य षडङ्गानि समाचरेत् । हृदयादिचतुर्थ्यन्ते जातीः संयोज्य विन्यसेत् ॥ १४९ ॥

tataśca mūlamantrasya ṣaḍaṅgāni samācaret | hṛdayādicaturthyante jātīḥ saṃyojya vinyaset || 149 ||

Alors, on doit accomplir le rite ṣaḍaṅga, aux six membres, du mantra racine ; et, en commençant par le hṛdaya (cœur) jusqu’au quatrième membre, on joindra les jātis (syllabes/sons-semences) et on les déposera par le nyāsa selon la règle.
