Narada (in a technical/vedāṅga-style enumeration within Book 1.3)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It presents a purāṇic-technical mapping of named beings (or offices) to specific śaktis, indicating that ritual and mantra practice operates through precise associations rather than vague devotion alone.
Indirectly: it supports bhakti-informed ritual discipline by showing that reverence is paired with correct knowledge of divine functions (śakti-sambandha), which steadies worship and prevents arbitrary practice.
A classificatory, application-oriented knowledge used in ritual contexts—akin to vedāṅga-style technical listing—where specific powers (like Vāruṇī and Vāyavī) are assigned to particular figures for correct invocation and procedure.
