Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches a complete inner-to-outer sādhanā sequence—visualization (dhyāna), subtle worship (mānasa-upacāra), and disciplined repetition (japa)—showing that mantra power is stabilized by correct contemplative and devotional preparation.
Bhakti is expressed here as reverent service through upacāras offered mentally and as honoring the deity via the “pādukā” symbol (the revered feet/footwear), culminating in japa performed with devotion and steadiness.
It reflects prayoga-style ritual discipline—proper dhyāna, upacāra sequencing, and a defined japa count (daśadhā)—a technical, procedure-oriented approach consistent with Vedāṅga-informed ritual method (kalpa/prayoga).
