Mantraśodhana, Dīkṣā-krama, Guru-Pādukā, Ajapā-Haṃsa, and Ṣaṭcakra-Kuṇḍalinī Sādhana
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: raudra
It cautions that certain adverse configurations can become “enemy-like,” harming both household stability (spouse) and the seeker’s own practice, urging discernment and careful application of sacred sciences.
Indirectly: it reminds a devotee that obstacles can arise even for a sādhaka, so steadiness in dharma and reliance on higher refuge (such as Vishnu-bhakti in the broader Purana) is essential when facing adversity.
Jyotiṣa-style technical classification: identifying harmful “enemy” conditions and recognizing that multiple subtypes exist, implying the need for precise diagnosis before choosing any ritual or remedial measure.
