Sanatkumāra’s Bhāgavata Tantra: Tattvas, Māyā-Bonds, Embodiment, and the Necessity of Dīkṣā
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It establishes Vishnu as the supreme deity acknowledged by both Vedic revelation and Tantric/Agamic traditions, presenting single-point worship of Vishnu as a complete spiritual means.
It teaches that sincere and proper worship (samārādhana) of Vishnu is the direct, universally applicable practice for seekers of all legitimate goals, making bhakti the unifying path.
The verse stresses scriptural pramāṇa (authority): one should align worship with recognized śāstra—Veda and Tantra—implying disciplined ritual procedure (kalpa) and correct recitation/usage of sacred formulae.
