गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā

नमः परेशभक्ताय लोकानुग्रहहेतवे । संसारारण्यदावाग्ने धर्मपालनसेतवे ॥ ८३ ॥

namaḥ pareśabhaktāya lokānugrahahetave | saṃsārāraṇyadāvāgne dharmapālanasetave || 83 ||

Hommage au dévot du Seigneur suprême, qui agit pour la grâce et le bien des mondes—tel un feu de forêt dans la jungle du saṃsāra—et tel un pont qui protège et maintient le dharma.
