गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā
अहो धनमदान्धस्तु पश्यन्नपि न पश्यति । यदि पश्यत्यात्महितं स पश्यति न संशयः ॥ १०९ ॥
aho dhanamadāndhastu paśyannapi na paśyati | yadi paśyatyātmahitaṃ sa paśyati na saṃśayaḥ || 109 ||
Hélas ! Aveuglé par l’orgueil de la richesse, on ne voit pas, même en regardant. Mais celui qui discerne ce qui est salutaire pour le Soi, lui seul voit vraiment, sans aucun doute.
