The Description of Mārkaṇḍeya
स ऋषिः परमप्रीतो दृष्ट्वा पुत्रं सुलक्षणम् । जातकं कारयामास मङ्गलं विधिपूर्वकम् ॥ ७ ॥
sa ṛṣiḥ paramaprīto dṛṣṭvā putraṃ sulakṣaṇam | jātakaṃ kārayāmāsa maṅgalaṃ vidhipūrvakam || 7 ||
Ce sage, transporté de joie en voyant son fils aux signes auspicieux, fit accomplir les rites de naissance et les cérémonies de bon augure, dûment et selon la règle prescrite.
