The Description of Mārkaṇḍeya

चिरजीवी महाभक्तो देवदेवस्य चक्रिणः । जगत्येकार्णवीभूते स्वप्रभावं जनार्द्दनः ॥ १८ ॥

cirajīvī mahābhakto devadevasya cakriṇaḥ | jagatyekārṇavībhūte svaprabhāvaṃ janārddanaḥ || 18 ||

Le grand dévot, doué d’une longue vie, du Dieu des dieux, le Porteur du Disque, lorsque le monde entier devint un seul océan, contempla la puissance innée de Janārdana (Viṣṇu).
