Par la puissance du satsaṅga, la sainte compagnie, et par la seule proximité de Hari, le chasseur—délivré de ses fautes—fut saisi de repentir et prononça ces paroles.
Suta (narrating the account; the hunter is about to speak)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that satsaṅga and even simple nearness to Hari can rapidly destroy pāpa (sin) and awaken genuine anutāpa (repentance), preparing a person for devotional reform.
Bhakti is shown as transformative: contact with Hari (through presence, devotees, or sacred setting) purifies the heart, leading naturally to remorse and a turning toward devotion.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught directly; the practical takeaway is ethical-spiritual discipline—seek satsaṅga as an applied method for inner purification.
