Śrāddha-prayoga: Niyama, Brāhmaṇa-parīkṣā, Kutapa-kāla, Tithi-nyāya, and Vaiṣṇava-phala
Sanatkumara (in dialogue instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes ritual completeness and purity: the rite begins with properly establishing Agni and ends with formally concluding (visarjana), showing reverence and disciplined observance of Dharma.
While primarily a karma-kāṇḍa instruction, it supports Bhakti indirectly by teaching careful, respectful worshipful conduct—treating Agni and the rite as sacred service done with steadiness and humility.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is highlighted—how to kindle/establish the fire, perform the prescribed act at Parvaṇa, and properly conclude the rite, including guidance for situations where the ritual fire is not at hand.
