Primary Rasa: shanta

It emphasizes that sacred rites begin with purity, correct preparation of the ritual space, and faithful adherence to śāstric order—outer discipline supporting inner reverence and dharmic intention.
Though primarily ritual, it frames worship as careful service: preparing the altar, establishing fire, and offering ghee in order mirrors bhakti as attentive, rule-guided devotion (sevā) offered without negligence.
Kalpa (especially Gṛhya-kalpa) is central: it points to following one’s Gṛhya-sūtra for agni establishment and the prescribed sequence of ājya offerings, showing the technical discipline of ritual procedure.
