Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none (ritual component within a Vaiṣṇava observance)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It links inner devotion (namas and mantra-japa) with outer sacred action (ghṛta-homa), showing that Vishnu-bhakti is perfected when worship is done vidhivat—reverently and according to scriptural method—yet adapted to one’s capacity (śaktitaḥ).
Bhakti here is expressed through surrender (“namas-te”) and remembrance of Vishnu as Madhusūdana; repeating the divine name/mantra 108 times is a structured form of loving recollection, reinforced by an offering act that symbolizes dedication of one’s resources to the Lord.
It reflects Kalpa/ritual procedure: performing homa with ghṛta, counting a fixed japa number (108), and doing the act vidhivat (per rule), emphasizing correct ritual method and disciplined recitation.
