Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It defines puṇya as what genuinely purifies and gladdens the inner self, and grounds that merit in the vision that all is pervaded by Vishnu, the ultimate cause.
By affirming that the whole world is Vishnu, it trains the devotee to see the Lord everywhere—turning actions into worship and making inner joy a sign of dharmic, Vishnu-centered living.
No specific Vedanga technique is taught here; the practical takeaway is ethical discernment—recognizing puṇya by its inner sattvic clarity and Vishnu-oriented intention rather than mere external performance.
