Que ce soit par immaturité, par doute, par peur, ou même par un instant d’égarement—quand bien même la connaissance surgirait, ils n’atteignent pas cet état suprême.
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in Moksha-dharma context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It warns that even the arising of knowledge is not enough if the seeker remains unstable—immaturity, doubt, fear, or even a brief lapse can prevent reaching the final goal of moksha.
Bhakti requires steadiness (niṣṭhā); fear and doubt weaken surrender, and a wavering mind cannot remain fixed on the Lord—so the verse emphasizes unwavering commitment alongside insight.
Not a Vedanga technique directly; the practical takeaway is sādhanā-discipline—guarding the mind from saṃśaya (doubt) and bhaya (fear) so that realized knowledge becomes firm and fruitful.
