Narada (teaching in a Moksha-Dharma context, traditionally within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents how outcomes—gain and loss, increase and decline—unfold in an ordered way, reminding the seeker that worldly conditions follow lawful patterns and should be met with discernment rather than attachment.
By showing that external conditions fluctuate (success/failure, abundance/scarcity), it implicitly directs a devotee to anchor faith in the Lord rather than in changing signs, using prosperity or adversity as occasions for steadiness in devotion.
The verse uses predictive, observational language aligned with Jyotiṣa-style thinking—reading increase/decline and natural indicators (moon’s appearance, clouds) to judge timing and likely results of undertakings.
